An alarm initially describes a condition. Reliable fault analysis requires the sequence of events and verifiable evidence about the cause.

Capture the sequence

Record operating state, product and time of interruption. Which alarm appeared first and which followed? Secondary alarms can result from a single fault. Display photographs and existing logs support a shared review.

Test hypotheses deliberately

Define a possible cause and a suitable check. Mechanical, electrical and control teams should combine observations. If several changes are made simultaneously, identifying the effective one becomes difficult.

Hand over the solution

Document findings, the approved corrective action and the subsequent functional test. Include unresolved questions in the handover. A clear record shortens investigation if the fault returns.
