Competencies of our Electrical Design Engineers:
- Develop and maintain electrical documentation for automated machinery and production systems
- Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and technology flow charts using EPLAN P8
- Design panel layouts for machine electrical components and power distribution assemblies
- Prepare material lists, cable schedules, and procurement documentation
- Ensure designs comply with relevant IEC/NFPA safety and electrical standards
- Update project documentation during execution and manage correct archiving of technical records
- Coordinate labelling, component numbering, and provide support to installation teams
- Collaborate across mechanical, commissioning, and automation engineering functions
Qualifications:
- Completed technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Practical experience in electrical design for automation or machinery
- Strong knowledge in using CAE tools — ideally EPLAN P8
- Familiar with industrial control architectures and component selection
- Structured problem-solving mindset and strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
